The Heavenly Jerusalem

The Heavenly Jerusalem” in Orthodoxy is the eternal, perfected, divine-human reality where God and His people dwell together, symbolizing both the ultimate fulfillment of salvation and the spiritual life to which the Church calls believers now. It is at once mystical, eschatological, and liturgical.
